Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers

No hot water in the shower. Tried to take a shower at night, barely got warm, thought Maybe just had too many users. Up early, same thing, barely warm water in the morning. Also the Coffee maker did not work. This was their King suite at $179 a night, not worth the cost! Told front desk when leaving, they Say "we always have probems with the coffee makers, did not address the hot water issue

Just weird. We were on the second floor and periodically heard a loud banging sound, like someone hammering metal. The same sound woke me up about 11:30pm. When I called the front desk he told me that yes, he heard the sound and that it was the dishwasher (maybe he meant a washing machine) banging on a pipe and that other rooms had called to complain. He asked if we wanted to change rooms and I said I just wanted them to turn the machine off. No apologies were made and he seemed annoyed. He thought they were “probably” done running the “dishwasher.” So the hotel employees knew the racket they were making and decided to just make it anyway. At after 11:00pm. This was just the major issue. There were others. Just weird to stay at a Hilton hotel and have this kind of thing. My advice is avoid this particular hotel.

Everyone here from the front desk staff to the wait staff to the bar to the housekeepers all greet you with a genuine smile, make eye contact and seem genuinely concerned about your visit. It's amazing!! I have stayed here twice in the past 3 weeks checking on my parents and this place feels like home away from home. This will be my go to hotel whenever I come to Fort Myers!

We are so angry at staying at this Hilton to the point of never staying at another Hilton ever and not even caring that we are Hilton Honors members any longer which we thought were a benefit until now. Oh, and I even applied for a Hilton American Express card this week and will now just deactivate it. We are here staying 3 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Myers Day 1 tge fire alarm goes off and the hotel is evacuated because a guy was smoking a cigarette in his room, the plan opps guy told us what happened and they guy lied to the fire department tell them he wasn’t smoking. Unbelievable!! The first 3 hours of our stay… oh, but it gets worse..The first night we were here there was a family which were staying in the room next to us. Their child continuously threw a ball against the wall for 30 minutes after 9pm. My husband called the front desk to complain and the front desk clerk told my husband that there was no quiet time and basically it was fine that they could throw the ball as long as they want too. The next morning the same thing happened and it woke me up so I got up and knocked on the wall so they would stop, since I knew that the front desk already said they would do nothing about it. 5 minutes later we heard slamming at our inside door that adjoins the rooms and the door knobs and latches clicking where the people next door were literally trying to burst into our room. I was scared to death and frightened for my life. 10 minutes later my husband walked into the hall to get the room number and the guy with his family walked out. This guy was evil and out of control and threatened my husbands life. My husband called the front desk and explained what happened and the lady once again said she couldn’t do anything about it. I called and explained the situation that I was in fear for my life and she said the people had already checked out and left but she lied because they came back. Luckily the people did leave as I was so shaken up and a police officer arrived so we could tell him that our lives were threatened and this hotel basically did not care, we called Hilton to complain and basic got nowhere. Well we left for the day and came back this evening and housekeeping never came to take our dirty towels, give us new toilet paper or empty the trash. My husband called and the lady at the front desk basically told my husband that they only do this every other day!! Are you kidding me?!?! The first Hilton ever to not give you fresh towels!!! What the heck?!? What are we paying for?!? At this particular hotel we are treated horrible because we are white!! It’s straight up discrimination because the front desk has such attitudes with white people!! I’m just soooo done with Hilton and this lazy self entitled nonsense mentality. 2 more nights of Hell to go through at this hotel!!!
